Ruth Anne Dodge Memorial - Council Bluffs'
The Bloody Wall House
Investigation 2009IA1

SW Iowa rural home (The bloody wall house): Preliminary Investigation

Date: April 11, 2009

Investigators Present: Kevin and Stephen

Equipment: Olympus Digital Camera, Sony (Nightshot Capable) Digital Handy Cam, RCA Digital Audio
Recorder, EMF Meter, Flashlights, Lamp.

Reports: Property owner and others report eerie feelings upon entering the house.

Investigation Results & Findings:

Sightings: None Reported

Heard: Bangs and creaks consistent with physical state of the house

Video Evidence: None

Picture Evidence: None (Upon closer inspection, the substance on the wall was not blood, though the
visual was initially alarming.)

Audio Evidence: 2 Possible EVPs were captured.

The first may be saying: "out" or "doubt"

Lonely humming (Near the end of this clip you can hear one of the investigators saying "Flash")

Conclusion: The house is in state of disrepair that we believe would naturally trigger the 'eerie feelings'
reported by the owner and others. (Between the signs of a past fire in the house and the decidedly
abandoned 'feel' of the place, we believe that those feelings would be a common reaction.)

On the other hand, upon final review of the evidence FBN cannot rule out a paranormal cause and will
schedule a full investigation at a later date.

FINAL VERDICT: Inconclusive - case remains open.
Looks a bit like blood?
